University of Dodoma in Tanzania

The partnership between Rutgers and the University of Dodoma, which is in Tanzania’s capital city of Dodoma, began in 2014. It was initiated at the invitation of His Excellency Jakaya Kikwete, who was the President of Tanzania at the time. Since then, multiple schools across Rutgers have partnered with the university, resulting in remarkable collaborative efforts.

In March, we gathered faculty from the School of Nursing, the School of Public Health, the School of Health Professions, and the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School to record a presentation that highlights the work that has taken place over the past years between the two universities and to show what the future holds for this wonderful partnership.
