World AIDS Day + Day Without Art Signature Program

This event is free and open to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students.

In recognition of World AIDS Day, Rutgers Global, Rutgers School of Nursing, Rutgers Global Health Institute and other university partners present “The Duty to Care: Nursing in the Early Years of the AIDS Epidemic.” This program features a screening and discussion of documentary 5B, which tells the inspirational story of the first HIV/AIDS ward unit in the U.S. at San Francisco General Hospital.

A post-screening discussion will include:

• Cliff Morrison, San Francisco General Hospital
• Peter Oates, director, Health Care Services, FXB, School of Nursing
• Sue Willard, associate dean for Global Health, School of Nursing
