HIV Politics & Policy: A solutions-based approach

December 6, 2019 @ 8:30 am - 12:45 pm

This event is free and open to Rutgers faculty, staff, and students.

For their annual World AIDS Day Commemoration, Rutgers School of Public Health and Rutgers School of Nursing present HIV Politics & Policy: A solutions-based approach, a half day conversation on policies that can lead to the end of AIDS.

The virus, beyond its biological component, is directed by social and structural factors that play a key role in shaping the epidemic. The conference will examine policy-based solutions, with examples of implementation on the state and federal levels, including New Jersey 2018 commitment to ending new cases of HIV by 2025.
