The Busara Center: A Resource for Data Collection in the Global South

The New Jersey Alliance for Clinical and Translational Science is hosting the first event of its Special Populations Core 2021 Webinar Series. “The Busara Center: A Resource for Data Collection in the Global South” is a presentation by Johannes Haushofer, PhD, assistant professor of economics at Stockholm University.

The Busara Center for Behavioral Economics is a research center with headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, through which researchers conduct lab and field studies in Kenya and other low- and middle-income countries. Professor Haushofer will describe the center’s research infrastructure, discuss how other researchers can take advantage of this resource, and answer questions from attendees.
