This event is targeted toward Rutgers students but everyone is welcome.
Rutgers Red Cross, in coordination with the student chapter of the Foundation for International Relief of Children, hosts a panel discussion on the professional, educational and experiential learning avenues available at Rutgers for students interested in global health. The goal is to provide students with insight, advice, and general information on the many pathways available them. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the panelists.
The panel will consist of Rutgers Global Health Institute’s core faculty members and a student involved in global health initiatives, including:
• Gloria Bachmann, professor, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
• Vicente Gracias, senior vice chancellor for Clinical Affairs, Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences
• Gregory Peck, assistant professor, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
• Marlena Sabatino, global health scholar and medical student, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
