Multiracial Stigma and Health Outcomes
Presented by Diana Sanchez, PhD – associate professor, Department of Psychology, Rutgers School of Arts and Sciences
Sanchez’s research focuses on social stigma and intergroup relations with a particular focus on the experiences and perceptions of racial minorities and women. Her current projects include identifying how gender ideologies and roles influence men and women’s health behaviors and beliefs. In addition, she explores how different styles of coping with discrimination influence stress, autonomy, and illness symptomatology.
