The Department of Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Genetics (DMBMG) and the Public Health Research Institute at New Jersey Medical School are hosting an invited speaker seminar on Tuesday, March 23, at 12 noon.
Zhengli Shi, PhD, is a professor at the Wuhan Institute of Virology at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. She will give an overview of the distribution, genetic evolution, and interspecies transmission of bat coronaviruses, particularly focusing on bat SARS-related coronaviruses.
Hua Zhu, PhD, associate professor in DMBMG, is hosting the seminar.
