Conspiracies & COVID-19 in Communities of Color: “Like, Comment & Share the Truth”

The Clinical Research Center at New Jersey Medical School is hosting a panel discussion designed to unpack medical mistrust, fear, and skepticism around COVID-19 research. Presented in collaboration with Garden State Equality and Rutgers’ HIV Prevention Community Planning Support and Development Initiative, the featured speakers include:
- Michele Andrasik – Director, Social and Behavioral Sciences and Community Engagement, HIV Vaccine Trials Network; Senior Staff Scientist, Vaccine and Infectious Diseases Division, Fred Hutch; Clinical Affiliate Professor, Department of Global Health, University of Washington
- Amesika Nyaku – Assistant Professor, Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, Rutgers New Jersey Medical School; Co-director, Northern New Jersey Medication-Assisted Treatment Center of Excellence
