Sarah Komline is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a practicing Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital Emergency Department in New Brunswick, NJ. In her clinical role she provides acute care for infants, children and teens with illness or injury who present to the emergency department.  Additionally, her duties include supervision and teaching of medical students and residents from the Department of Pediatrics, Emergency Medicine, and Family Medicine. 

She completed her residency training in Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters and her fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester.  

Her current international work is with Medicines Sans Frontier as a pediatrician. She most recently spent 9 months in Bentiu, South Sudan. Additionally, she has worked in Uganda, Haiti and Belize. She is working to expand the global health education offerings for the pediatric residents at BMSCH.
