Kirthana Sharma
Kirthana Sharma is a physician and public health researcher. As a senior research manager for Rutgers Global Health Institute, she oversees research initiatives in global settings. Her current work involves improving cancer diagnostics and pathology services, molecular profiling, and addressing cancer care and prevention services in low– and middle–income countries, with a focus on Botswana. She is actively involved with the Botswana-Rutgers Partnership for Health.
Sharma’s career experiences have included health systems research and initiatives related to health economics and health policy. She received a medical degree from the University of Sydney and holds a master of public health degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
