Florencia Modernel coordinates and implements the Equitable Recovery program in Trenton, New Jersey. In this capacity, she offers resilience support services to the neighborhood’s small businesses that are facing challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She previously worked at the Mercer County Hispanic Association, which provides and facilitates access to social services and advocates on behalf of the members of the Mercer County community. In an earlier role, she worked as a copywriter for Savvy Marketers, LLC, where she helped clients and their businesses transform their brands. She has a bachelor of arts in Spanish from Brigham Young University and is fluent in English and Spanish.
