Peace Corps Application Workshop

Rutgers Global is holding a Peace Corps application workshop on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 3 to 5 p.m. in New Brunswick.
During the workshop, Peace Corps recruiters will show attendees how to browse volunteer opportunities, provide assistance in identifying a program of interest, explain steps you can take to improve your chances for acceptance, help you strengthen your application, and provide other tips to guide you through the application process. Global health shares many values with the Peace Corps. According to peacecorps.gov, the agency’s priorities include partnering with local communities to recover from health and development setbacks caused by COVID-19 and to adapt and build resilience to climate change. Other connections exist between the Peace Corps’ work and global health. The Peace Corps’ strategic objectives are to reimagine service, advance equity, and deliver quality.
