Suzanne Willard
Suzanne Willard, PhD, APN-c, FAAN, holds a doctorate in educational leadership and is an advanced practice nurse specializing in the care of individuals living with HIV. She maintains a clinical practice at Zufall Health Center.
Willard has worked globally for the past 15 years, focusing on HIV programming related to the prevention of transmission of HIV from mother to child as well as quality improvement efforts.
Her work at Rutgers has focused on establishing new programming. She was the inaugural associate dean of global health in the School of Nursing. In the school’s global health division, she has established study abroad programs; designed educational programs related to trauma systems and long-term care for nurses from China, Latin America, and Africa; and encouraged global research efforts among the faculty and students.
