Summer Program Info Session: Health Communication and Health Inequalities across the Health Professions in Greece and the U.S.

January 18, 2023 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The School of Communication and Information and the School of Health Professions are holding a summer program information session at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

The information session will review the upcoming summer program, Health Communication and Health Inequalities across the Health Professions in Greece and the U.S., which takes place in June and July 2023. The first part of the program, June 1–12, is virtual; synchronous and asynchronous sessions will occur via the university’s Canvas platform. The second part of the program is in-person in Greece, on the island of Crete, from June 15–30. Final projects will be due July 7.

An interprofessional team of faculty from Rutgers and Hellenic Mediterranean University in Crete, Greece, will teach in the program, which students can participate in for credit or no credit.

Online via Zoom

Advance registration for the info session is required: go.rutgers.edu/jmaf09ds. The info session is free to attend and open to the public, though the program is designed for graduate students. For more information, contact Riva Touger-Decker, professor and associate dean of global affairs in the School of Health Professions and core faculty member at Rutgers Global Health Institute, at decker@rutgers.edu or 973-468-5956.
