Regional Symposium on Climate Change, Planetary Health, and Human Health: Challenges and Opportunities

Rutgers is collaborating with New Jersey higher education institutions to hold a regional symposium on Friday, October 28, 2022, in New Brunswick.
The Regional Symposium on Climate Change, Planetary Health, and Human Health: Challenges and Opportunities is a day-long event for which the goal is to learn what the organizing institutions (Rutgers, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Princeton University, and Stevens Institute of Technology) are engaged with in research, innovation, and implementation to address one of the 21st century’s biggest challenges, and to identify potential areas of collaboration that would benefit the population of New Jersey and beyond.
Thematic areas:
- climate change and climate science
- health impacts of climate change: vulnerability and disparity
- food safety and security in a changing climate
- health care systems and climate change
- role of technology and engineering tools to combat health impacts of climate change
