Rutgers Global is holding a webinar at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3, 2022, as part of its International Scholars Speaker Series.
Assistant professor Joachim Sackey, who holds joint appointments in the School of Health Professions and School of Public Health, will discuss food insecurity, diet, and nutrition issues from global-to-local levels, including dynamics related to marginalized communities and students. Sackey also is a core faculty member of Rutgers Global Health Institute and a member of the education committee for the international Consortium of Universities for Global Health. He received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in nutritional epidemiology from the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University and an M.Phil. degree in dietetics from the University of Ghana.
