Frontiers of Computational Mental Health

December 12, 2022 @ 9:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Rutgers Global Health Institute core faculty member Vincent Silenzio is giving a presentation about computational mental health on Monday, December 12, 2022, at 9 p.m. Eastern Time (in China Standard Time, the presentation will take place at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 13, 2022).

From the event description: Titled “Frontiers of Computational Mental Health: Pushing the Boundaries of Innovation in Individual, Community, Population, and Global Mental Health,” Silenzio’s presentation will explore some of the exciting areas of innovation in the emerging computational mental health space. We will address some of the recent advances in computational mental health, including advances in mental health epidemiology and measurement at the individual and population levels. Finally, we will explore how this relentless pace of innovation will continue to inform the development of groundbreaking and highly-scalable artificial intelligence applications that offer to significantly improve, extend, and expand the range of mental health resources at our disposal in the years ahead.”

The presentation is related to collaborations with Central South University in China. Silenzio is a professor in the Department of Urban-Global Public Health at Rutgers School of Public Health and in the Department of Family Medicine and Global Health at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
