Botswana COVID-19 Guidelines Update from the Ministry of Health and Wellness

The University of Botswana Faculty of Medicine and Sir Ketumile Masire Teaching Hospital in collaboration with the Botswana Ministry of Health and Wellness and the Botswana-Rutgers Partnership for Health are hosting a public session of the Botswana COVID-19 Webinars series at 4 p.m. SAST (9 a.m. EST).
The webinar, titled “Botswana COVID-19 Guidelines Update from the Ministry of Health and Wellness,” will describe recent changes to the national COVID-19 guidelines, including changes in the COVID-19 isolation and quarantine guidelines and changes in the point-of-entry requirements.
Presenters will include:
- Introduction: Charles Muyela, senior medical officer, Botswana Ministry of Health and Wellness
- Lead presentation: Matshwenyego Boitshwarelo, public health physician, Botswana Ministry of Health and Wellness
- Closing comments: Tendani Gaolathe, assistant program director and lecturer, Department of Internal Medicine, University of Botswana; in-country director, Botswana-Rutgers Partnership for Health
A 20-minute question-and-answer session will follow Boitshwarelo’s presentation.
