Mark Rodgers
Mark Rodgers is an assistant professor in the supply chain management department at Rutgers Business School. His research interests include power grid expansion planning, simulation-based optimization, and quantitative methods to assess the impact of supply chain disruptions and risk on operational performance. Global health applications of his work address environmental problems and climate change, including a grant funded by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
Rodgers received a Ph.D. degree in industrial and systems engineering from Rutgers; M.S. degrees in statistics as well as industrial and systems engineering from Rutgers; a master of engineering degree in pharmaceutical manufacturing practices from Stevens Institute of Technology; and a B.S. degree in ceramics and materials science engineering from Rutgers. He has presented his research at many academic conferences and was awarded a National Science Foundation fellowship via the Integrative Graduate Education and Research Traineeship program.
Prior to joining the Rutgers Business School faculty, Rodgers worked in the telecommunications, pharmaceutical, transportation, and management consulting industries in various business process improvement and analytics roles.
