Denise Gavala

Senior Associate Vice President for Development, Rutgers Health, Rutgers University Foundation

Denise P. Gavala oversees fundraising for Rutgers Global Health Institute as well as Rutgers’ two medical schools, pharmacy school, and several other institutes and centers. Denise designs and implements development strategies and works closely with alumni, grateful patients, and friends of health care to facilitate their philanthropic interests in education, research, and clinical support. She brings to her role more than 20 years of experience in higher education.
