Tendai D. Ndoro
Tendai D. Ndoro is the regional director for the New Jersey Small Business Development Center (NJSBDC) at Rutgers University–Newark. NJSBDC is affiliated with Rutgers Business School–Newark and New Brunswick, and it offers growth-focused training, counseling, and technical assistance for start-up entrepreneurs and established small businesses. She is involved with Rutgers Global Health Institute’s Equitable Recovery for New Jersey’s Small Businesses program.
As regional director, Ndoro has designed, developed, and implemented innovative entrepreneurship, small business, and student experiential programs. In collaboration with private/public entities, she promotes small business development (small and midsize enterprises), global leadership, and community and economic development initiatives. She has consulted globally within the international donor community and has participated domestically as a focus group expert and guest speaker for various economic development organizations as well as public and private entities.
Ndoro is a CEO for three global businesses and a member of various boards, including the Community Access Unlimited Board of Trustees and the RWJBarnabas Health Social Impact and Community Investment External Advisory Board.
She received a Ph.D. in public administration from Rutgers’ School of Public Affairs and Administration and is a certified Baldrige examiner with the National Institute of Science and Technology.
