Evita Sadimin

Evita Sadimin is a pathologist at Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, practicing surgical pathology and pathology informatics, with subspecialty in genitourinary pathology. As part of the urologic oncology team, she focuses on cancers of the prostate, bladder, kidney, testis, penis, urethra, and adrenal gland. As part of the biomedical informatics division, she is involved in the clinical data warehouse, telepathology, and image analysis. She has performed significant work in translational research in both fields, contributing to publications that guide clinical decisions in diagnosis and therapy and utilize technologies to aid practice.

Sadimin is also actively involved in the field of immuno-oncology, especially HER2 and PD-L1 testing. She is a clinical and research mentor to pathology residents and medical students, developing up-to-date curricula with practical applications. Her project with Rutgers Global Health Institute includes the cancer control and prevention initiative in Botswana.
