As senior associate dean for community health, Eric Jahn is responsible for oversight of the community health mission of the medical school. Major activities included in this mission area are the Eric B. Chandler Health Center in New Brunswick; community-based service learning initiatives for medical students; community-based health-improvement projects; a community interpreter program; and Rutgers Project ECHO™, a telementoring program that increases primary care providers’ capabilities to care for complex patients.

Jahn previously served as medical director of the Eric B. Chandler Health Center, a federally qualified community health center operated by Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in conjunction with the Eric B. Chandler Community Board, Inc.
